The JRIC Critical Infrastructure Protection unit (CIP) can help you enhance your security posture.

We provide intelligence products, training, and physical assessment services to help you protect the people and places crucial to the day-to-day functioning and health of your community, the region, and the nation.

Within the six-county JRIC area of responsibility the JRIC CIP unit offers:

SECURITY VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENTS

  • Identification of vulnerabilities at regional critical infrastructure sites and “options for consideration” for reducing these vulnerabilities through the application of risk methodologies and site visits.

NON PROFIT SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM (NSGP) APPLICATION ASSISTANCE

  • Identify vulnerabilities and complete the NSGP Vulnerability Assessment Worksheet.

VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR SCHOOL FACILITIES – BASIC COURSE

  • POST Certified (Peace Officers Standards and Training) 8-hour training course for designated school security personnel, such as school district law enforcement/resource officers, private security, and administrators   to conduct security vulnerability assessments on schools within their jurisdictions.
  • 6-hour practical assessment training on 2nd day, as requested.

NON PROFIT SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION WORKSHOP

Train designated personnel to conduct security assessments in support of NSGP Vulnerability Assessment Worksheet applications.
